Football Fury: England bitter & blue after losing World Cup 2018 Bid to Russia

While Russia celebrates scoring its World Cup hosting victory, some of the other bidders are having trouble stomaching their loss. England struggled to make an impact, despite wheeling out premier league support from royalty, the Prime Minister and sporting legends. As Laura Emmett reports, the failure is proving a bitter pill to swallow.

I don't give two sh*ts about England, Russia, or football / soccer for that matter as it's a rather boring sport. That video that RT just produced is probably the most chauvinist piece of journalistic garbage I have ever seen. In virtually every single phrase, or idea presented, they manage to sneak another attack on England as a nation. You get the impression this is the Kremlin press office, not a neutral news outlet vying for credibility and respectability.

I feel bad for england but still happy for russia cuz russia do deserve the WC as much as England but i totally did not get it wen Qatar won the bid. Qatar ranks at 90 in the FIFA ranking and have never been qualified in the world cup ever. I thought Australia or Japan was a better option. Qatar finally will play the worldcup in 2022 cuz they r host!!!

England are host of next years olympic games, Host of Rugby World Cup 2015 and also Host of 2019 Cricket World Cup

I would had prefured the host to be Spain and Portugal
