Well i don't feel like i'm in living hell. I did briefly once when they told me Santa didn't exist, but i did the research and, sure enough, he lacked the historical verifiability of Jesus Christ. I think more than anything we have shown that our respective "truths" are very different, and our viewpoints diametrically opposed. I suppose that is good enough. I wish Galatians 5:22 for us both...peace.

Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only." "I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me." Over and over, Jesus speaks of a personal God, the God of Israel...a far far cry from the impersonal "all is one" god you speak of. No we are not God, we are his creatures. IMO you have been deceived. Paul had it exactly right.

sudden316, I suspect that it is YOU who rejects Jesus' way, for you do not see yourself as the "only begotten Son" of God, which was Jesus' way. Because of that you have condemned yourself to NOT finding the kingdom of heaven that is AT HAND, here, now.
I like you J Freedom......and you don't look bad talking at all, but more beautiful than your face are the words you are speaking which I find that I agree whole heartedly with. I subscribed to your web site tonight and I look forward to more communication. Grace

Jesus came to die for our sins, not to "enlighten" us. As sinners in a "fallen" state (the default of humanity) we are all separated from God. Jesus was God incarnate, indeed The Righteous One, and only through Him can we be reconciled with God. When we accept Christ as Savior, we are still sinners, but are forgiven. It doesn't mean we can go out and rob banks :-), but that when God looks down upon us, he doesn't "see" our sins. Jesus' righteousness is "imputed" to us.

sudden316, boy are you GULLIBLE. Do you still believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy? How about WMD in Iraq? It sounds like you do not question anything, particularly your assumptions/beliefs. If you want to stay in your living hell you are welcome, if not I am glad to work with you.

Paul was Pharisee of Pharisees and a persecutor of Christians. But he did a 180 when he met the risen Christ. With his in-depth understanding of Scripture, Jewish Law, prophecies, etc., he wrote Romans, laying out an eloquent and precise theology, in perfect sync with the teachings of Christ. Read it for yourself. Bottom line is we are all sinners, "there is none righteous, not even one", and unless we accept the only provision that God has provided for salvation, we will perish.

sudden316, so you are saying that 'there is NONE righteous, not even one" meaning that even Jesus was not righteous, right? NOT!
Many people have 'overcome the world' but Paul was not one. Many have found that kingdom of heaven that is AT HAND, that Jesus talked about, but Christians who follow Paul are not them.
