Cripples hard drive can't convert consistently to save its life. And the screen capture is so hit and miss it crashes my laptop constantly it was so slow capturing that my movie rental expired before I could get a converted file. Hpdv6 duo core 2.26 intel 64bit vista home premium with 4GB RAM 1 GB ATI 4650
It's up to Tunebite 8 now, but the price has dropped to $25. I used it with a video capture cable ($7+) to convert my old Hi8 camcorder tapes to digital. Of course, being able to copy anything playing on the computer screen is great, including Netflix and YouTube. Click on my name for the varied uses I've found; I'm just a user and not promoting Tunebite over other software. Works great for me.
It is not compatible with windows XP. of course I did not get that pop up until after waiting 20 minutes for it to finish installing. This is a pretty heavy file on the hard drive, too. It slowed my computer down. I had a couple of reasons to get rid of it.
I used/tried tunbites 7 and 8. I've returned both to the vendor. I've tried to convert wma files to mp3. Most of the time not to say always it failed: too many slots in use. Google for tunbites and slots. You'll find a bunch of people complaining about this problem.
