In this tutorial series i will be using After Effects for compositing. Boujou will be used for 3d tracking and i will show you how to use the target tracker and generate meshes inside Boujou. Then I am going to model and texture a couple of pots to place on the table. Photoshop will be used for texture editing. I will export different passes and composit them in after effects where i will add some motion blur with the plugin Reel smart motion blur.

  • and you don't have to draw a table, you can just draw a plane which is covered with matte/shadow material ;)

  • to correct the perspective of the table plate you just could check the "correct perspective" option within the crop tool. this spare all the aligning pain. a good tutorial so far.
