  • Shit box Nissan. I would love to have an XR8 shipped over here to the US. It would be nice competition for the GTO. How much is gas/petrol over there in Australia? I pay $7.00 US/Gallon for 110 Octane VP Fuels race fuel at the track in Gainesville Florida.

  • Your octane ratings are different but the good pump fuel here is a little less than 1.50 AUD per litre, since you guys refuse to use metric I'll let you convert that yourself ;)

  • That Skyline was obviously heavily modified...

  • Yep, he's running a fair bit of boost, He doesn't have alot of work done to the engine but yes I think 15-18 psi. It's pretty quick

  • @Sasquatch279 nah mate my dad has had both of these and r32 stock still flogged it I love all skylines and these ba/bf fords .

  • pfftt fucking XR8 ? my dad use to have one and he got rippedd by a fucking stock r32 now well well fuck the FORDS= found on rubbish dump shit

  • if a stockie XR6T it would been kill those skyline anydays

  • @mistaamistaa heres where it gets interesting. i actually have owned my 96 R33 GTS-t skyline for over 2 years now.

leave the falcodores to the strip where they can do a nice big smokey burnout and a decent ET, but it pretty much stops there performance-wise.

  • @0991ekul I dont drive a skyline, I've just seen a WHOLE heap beat fords and holdens at drag tracks, mostly due to these fords and holdens being owned by nimrods who think a quick exhaust modification will turn their cars into v8 supercars lmao. And all up the skyline is lighter, im still sort of sure that their engines are a tad lighter even though they're cast iron..... i'll get back to you on that one

  • @mistaamistaa pretty sure skyline engines are heavier than ford/holden's engines since they are made of cast iron. what model skyline do you drive mate?

  • @0991ekul well yeah, fords are heavy and boring. Just the same as holdens. Skylines are much more nimble and there engines are light and at the same time powerful, fords and holdens are just noise makers half the time.

  • it fucked off from that ford in no time. coming from a dedicated ford fan/owner, i never knew those pissy little engines packed so much punch.

  • i want to see video footage of that. 11.7, i dont believe it. i have an sr20det in my gemini and it spanks fg gt's and the ve gts. my best et is 12.6@ 109mph. so how can a f6 run 11's?

show me some footage to prove it, and also prove that it is stock...

  • Uhm no a Stock XR6T can get 13's and with a slight tune 12's out of factory.

As for FPV's there is a stock FG F6 at Calder that regularly runs 11.7 nothing done to it at, no exhaust.. nothing.
