Me and my friend were stoned, listening to this, and started talking about caves. We had no idea it was called Astral Cave; so when I found out, I thought it was pretty cool.

@venusasaboy In the context of what President Reagan is saying, I believe the message is deeper under the surface. I can not suppose to know what he knew and I cannot draw on the experiences that led him to say it either but he's a politician and politicians speak to further their agendas, not to preach truth. There are people who believe that this alien threat is here on earth right now. And according to those people, Reagan was intimately involved. Who am I to say what's true?

OTT is exactly like this and like Shpongle

could our own Human "technology be so advanced, that it appeard to be magical?"
another staged event similar to september 11th perhaps? (Bush senior talking here)
It just feels like we are being Lead to Believe that it is in Our Nature to be destructive, and "Aliens" would therefore only be posing a threat, and would never have peaceful Intentions. Well, look around you even Nature is apparently our enemy?

This song transports me to a higher plane of consciousness.

@FractalZero ... well, Reagan himself was pretty much an "alien threat" as far as I'm concerned... but I agree w/ your comment... and it would be FAB if the human race could unite WITHOUT a threat -- homegrown OR alien -- and get on w/ the business of stewardship of this planet so everybody has enough to be able to enjoy life in a sustainable way. NOW is the time.

@Xproletariatx Maybe Kuba, but still they are not perfectly similar to Entheogenic. This artist is one of a kind.

@Xproletariatx Cabeiri/Kaya Project/Etnoscope/Shaman's Dream+ Shpongle/Vibrasphere are some of the most popular Ambient Psy names.
Why does it need to be a 'threat'.

I believe the context of the quote was that we, humanity as a whole, needs an external threat to our existence to make us unite instead of fighting amongst ourselves. We're too busy with thinking about imaginary country borders, skin colour, cultural traditions to realise that we are one species. There is too much division (and conflict arising from it) for humanity to continue living on this planet for much longer.
Also thank you everyone for suggested artists :)

@FractalZero On the contrary, I'd say that conflict is a NECESSITY for us to continue living on this planet. Without conflict, without death, we would overpopulate this planet in a matter of a few decades. Doctors have us living far too long now. While conflict and strife continues, it makes necessary space for the births that we as an ignorant species refuse to control for ourselves. People think they're pretty clever. Clever, perhaps. Wisdom, foresight...these are the things we lack.

We have the means (and have had them for decades) through technology to sustain a global population far beyond than what we currently have. Conflict is inherently destructive - the antonym of productive, progressive, beneficial. Conflict is the very last thing we need as a species. To progress we must re-establish ourselves as a super-organism, within the super-organism of the earth and the universe and so on.
