completely agree! and you only get the microphone if you buy the 32 or 64 gig version. and its not even integrated! just an attachment the the headphones

OMG! WTF IS WRONG WITH APPLE!!!!! WHY WOULD THEY PUT A CAMERA ON THE NANO. BUT NOT THE TOUCH. THEY JUST LOST THOUSANDS OF BUYERS TO THE ZUNE HD. EVEN I'M THINKIN ABOUT GETTIN A ZUNE HD NOW. I MEAN I NO IT WOULD HAVE DEDUCTED IPHONE SALES BUT COME ON. WOULD THE SALES 4 THE IPOD TOUCH BE DOUBLE OR EVEN TRIPLED? ENOUGH TO COVER THE LOSS OF IPHONE SALES.

I completely agree with you although people do refer to an ipod touch 2nd gen. as an ipod touch 2g. but the politically correct name would be ipod touch 2nd generation

no your incorrect, apple does not call the current iPod touch a "2G", they call it a iPod touch 2d generation, look at apples website, and look at what its called/labeled at the apple store.
and yes its incorrect to call a iPod touch that name, as thats not what its true name is.
and no it well be called the, 3rd generation iPod touch.
