I speak German, and his gibberish was pretty spot on. Although, having taken a few years of Japanese, his was pretty terrible, not even close.

Sid Caesar's French accent when he's speaking gibberish is better than most Americans when they're speaking actual French.

What he does is use his phenomenal memory for words and stream an effortless series of words and phrases. If you can get the proper pronunciation and not stutter, all you have to do is stay 1 or 2 words ahead of your mouth.
