Avoid One Thing's album, "Avoid One Thing", was released in 2002.
The third track of the album is Lean on Sheena.
Bouncing Souls' "original version" of this song is the eighth track on the album, "The Gold Record", which was released on June 26, 2006.
Look it up, kid. Avoid One Thing is obviously a group of time travelers.
Also, this version is fucking badass, even though I love the Souls' version, too.

@wmoor0826 The description is wrong, kid. Bouncing Souls have the original. Look it up. This version is fake and sucks.

Avoid One Thing is one of the best and most under-appreciated punk rock bands to ever come out of Boston. I saw them at the Muddy River Smokehouse in Portsmouth, NH in 2005 with a handful of people and they were absolutely incredible. The Souls are legends and easily one of the best punk bands today, if not ever, but there always will be something special about this version of the song, at least for me. It's a shame they're not together anymore...
But hey, at least we got the Bosstones back!

Even though this version is not as coll mas the BS one...they DID compose this awesome song so anyways they must get BIG credit.

Dude, I agree, and their cover of Hybrid Moments is fucking beautiful, too.
They also covered that song from the Breakfast Club, and Kids in America.
this version is fucking sick. and it's not off beat at all. the drums are exactly the same in both songs... they are basically the same song, with picked guitar with effects in the verse. i love both versions!
