MICDS Winter Masterworks Choir Concert

The MICDS Chamber Choir, Bella Voce Women's Choir, Concert Women's Choir and Men's Choir presented the Winter Masterworks Concert on Thursday, December 8, 2011.

Accompanied by a professional orchestra, the choirs performed movements from some of the "biggest and best" in choral literature. Masterworks being highlighted including Mendelssohn's "Elijah", Haydn's "The Creation", Handel's "Judas Maccabeus", Vivaldi's "Gloria", Rutter's "Requiem" and Handel's "Messiah." The concert ended with the traditional singing of Sir David Willcock's "O Come, All Ye Faithful."
