  • haha i know I am a beekeeper, and so i can look at them in a different way.

But you have to look at it in there point of view. They work so hard and put everything into there nest. So they have to defend it =)

  • They also send people to the hospital, people who aren't allergic to bees even. You're out mowing the lawn, then suddenly they're attacking your face. Better safe than sorry with hornets.

  • I've noticed most of the time when people get stung or severely injured by an animal, they are pestering the animal or are in the vicinity of the animal's home.

Make sense? What would you do if an intruder broke into your house?! Idiots.

  • wow, such a nice video.thank you for taking the time to do this cause i find it really intersting

  • I find it really cool that you managed to find a position with the wasp nest being constructed over the window, with the window as the center/base of it. It makes for a nifty means of watching their progression as a hive and just how they go about their duties. I'm no fan of wasps, but when they're not trying to tear my face off, they're pretty cool to look at.

  • if you tap the window are they bothered by it?

  • Its amazing how they all perform their tasks without being instructed and things get done. Amazing creatures. Imagine if humans could work this way?

  • interresting stuff

  • hmmm why don't you spray yourself with pheromones ot make them think that you are a one of them and when fools try to brake in to you house they get stung lol

  • Thank You So Much for posting this video! You can read all you want about them, but nothing surpasses seeing the whole process of nature play out right inside the comfort of your house. I know this sounds crazy but I wouldn’t mind them building on the backside of my house among a window. So many people see Hornets as a nuisance but I have found them to be quite beneficial. Just as long as they are not in areas highly travel by humans.

5 Stars! (Or I guess just a thumb up now)

  • @david052856 EXACTLY, Say you were in your house and out of nowhere, a ball bigger then anything you have ever seen comes at you and destroys Half the house. You have kids about to be born in part of it and your kitchen that cost you 6,000 dollers to remodle is now an outside deck. Your going to have to attack the moron who did this to you. You can't get sued because your a hornet and you don't understand humans

  • Early in the morning put a soap nozzle on a pressure washing machine with a mix of dish soap and bleach, get it all primed up and go to town on that nest. Soak the hell out of it and you are DONE!!!

Own a pressure washing business and get calls for the oddest things and this is one of them that works and it works perfect every time.
