Here is the Jackie Stewart Special Ferrari 330 P4 at Knockhill during the Scottish Classic Speedfair revving with a lot of backfiring which was extremely loud and ferocious!

Talked to the guy driving and he told me some history about the car and it not actually being a normal P4 but the Jackie Stewart Special. Amazing looking car and it did sound very nice going round the track afterwards for a couple of laps.

Sounds like you were being fed some 'special' b*llsh*t to me. This car is one of 60 similar Noble P4 replicas currently on my register. THAT special !

  • And there was me thinking that the guy was talking some sense. Maybe he just told me a lot of rubbish to see if I would believe it? (Which I did)

  • Wow! Look at those sexy vintage curves! :-p

  • Do you think the mechanic gives a damn about how the exhaust sounds?

This is the sound of a true racing engine wich all those tuners dream about (but they only have 4 cilinders).

  • kool looks dope

  • @SeanKAlexander

Ok so I stand corrected -its a replica and for a moment I was fooled!

Some say it's a poor replica! Even if it does sound different, I wouldn't mind having that replica! Since so few were made, being a Sports/Prototype, an original 330 P3/P4 must run into the millions now -in any currency, right?

I was always focused on the Ford V Ferrari battle and the heroic way Ferrari stood up to the Ford onslaught with their massive resources plus Eric Broadley's vital input! And you?

  • Still sounds pretty good for being a v6..

  • @SeanKAlexander if anyone thinks that's a V12, they've never heard a V12. LOL

  • @steveo72990 that's a replica Steveo. LOL

  • @soundspur Are you serious? Did you even listen to the video? It's a turbo V-6 and doesn't sound ANYTHING like a normally aspirated V-12. The car in this video is a just a clumsy replica of the Stewart / Amon 330.

  • Replica? This is no replica: it's the real deal: Stewart & Chris Amon drove it to 2nd place at the 1000Km of Brands Hatch. For the Lamborghini ‘fan’ they only started up in the 1960's! They never even competed with LeMans Sports/Prototypes which is what this Ferrari was designed for. At the time Ferrari was locked in battle with Porsche and Ford. Ford eventually prevailed at Le Mans in 1967 having to use a beastly 7ltr V8 against Ferrari's classy 4 Ltr screaming V12 -and what an advanced design!

  • Lucky it's in a cage! :¬O

  • That is no vintage Ferrari, that's a rather mordern Replica. Bullshit.

  • Hmmm it has something from Alfa Romeo:O

    Anyway, Lambo foreverr#1!!!
