2500 Subs Special - TEN Shinies! - Part 4/4 - 2 Safari Shinies, 1 LIVE!!

I really appreciate every single one of you!

As promised, here's the special I was talking about over a month ago!

At first, I was planning to catch as much shinies as possible before I reached 2500.

However, I soon decided I wanted 2 shinies from all 3 hunting methods (excluding chaining). After succesfully getting 2 SR and 2 Masuda shinies, all there was left were 2 RE shinies.

So after triple and quad hunting for some time, I got the first one.
But not only did I get a rare shiny, something else happened which is probably the RAREST THING EVER to happen in any Pokemon game!

I got Pokerus, but the way I got it is just insane and probably never, ever happened before (or MAYBE just once). I noticed I got Pokerus while checking my new shiny, but back then I didn't realize that ONLY my Starmie was infected! Knowing that it takes about 4-5 battles to infect another Pokemon in your party, I'm sure I got it JUST before the shiny appeared.
However, after catching that shiny, I needed 4 more battles to infect the second Pokemon in my party, and thus it's most likely I got it the last battle before the shiny appeared! There's a small chance there was 1 battle in between, but I doubt it.

As Pokerus is 1/21845 and a Shiny is 1/8192, it's 21845 x 8192 = 169 MILLION
This means the chance of this happening is a stunning 1 in 169 million!!!

After that, things went bad: Two Safari Zone failures in a day!
What's more, the 2 of them didn't even take 200 encounters TOTAL to appear!
The first one took less than 15 minutes, where I got the second one (LIVE) 5 minutes after resuming my hunt. Pretty insane, huh?

I failed to catch them, but I honestly don't really care, especially the first one. I was actually more happy than pissed cause of getting one live.
Besides, they didn't take any effort so there was no need to be pissed xD

I decided to not use them for my special as I didn't catch them and so I went hunting non-Safari stuff.

Bam, new shiny found a couple of days later!
I now had enough shinies for my special, yay!

BUT, I felt lucky and decided to just keep hunting that day, and I'm glad I did! Another shiny appeared the very same day :O
And as if that wasn't enough, the next morning I found my THIRD shiny in exactly 24 hours and 34 minutes O_o

I know about the RNG stuff but Emerald can still be used for encountering. I was hoping for a Johto shiny in the Safari Zone.

You just keep REing till shiny or soft reset after certain amount?

@GreenSerenity95 Some people keep their games on until a shiny appears, but as frames go by at 60 per second, there's a very low chance you get RNG clones. On average, a shiny frame passes every 2,5 minutes so that's about 25 an hour. So yeah, turning off your game or not doesn't really matter unless you hunt for only 15 minutes. I usually turn off my game at the end of the day and not when taking a break or going away or something~
