Nice. It is quite similar in Yi chuan training. BTW in reply to a poster below, the "holding the ball" posture is one of the most important and powerful postures there is. Many cultures around the world practice this. In the Chinese internal styles it is the base, for many reasons. Some knowledge of Taoist cosmology will help to understand, some practice of it will help you know.

Simply walking, naturally, mind stopping no-where, awareness expanding everywhere. That is my understanding of walking meditation.

@Gino777 I haven't practiced this taoist style of walking meditation, but I've definitely done the Zen style. But yeah you're right.
