Here is a great fun circuit to build. The LED lights will only come on in darkness. It is not that difficult and Ive included the circuit diagram in the vid. Let me know what you think :)

  • @ashidilkhan , Hi, i must say i have built many of these circuits and have never had any LED's get damaged. So as long as you use the correct voltage their should be no problem :-)

  • Hi

can you tell me if this could work with a small portable battery and also what r those things next to the led lights, black and red? Also plz tell me what a transistor is?

Sorry I'm kinda new to this and was wondering if this can be made portable to be used in a remote control car, my circuit i had broke so need to make a new one. Also can you answer my second question, My circuit before was a light dependant circuit, like othis vid, but the solder came off, is this fixable or not?

  • Hi There :) Yes you could use this for your RC car. The red and black things are called crocodile clips, they are just there to hold the circuit 2gether, with solder you wont need them. This design is 100% portable!

Im not sure if your old circuit can be fixed, you could possibly fix it with some solder. Or just build this :) A transistor is a component that converts/amplifies signal. You will need a TO-92 transistor. Ask ur nearest electronical store. Need more help just ask :) good luck!

  • sir is there any alternative transistor to use on that circuit?

  • @jep071 Im not 100% sure, I think if you could find one that's closest to the one ive suggested it should be fine. But my suggestion is to try and find the one Ive specified :)

  • what is the value of transistor sir ?

  • @theshaider21

Hi! It is a NS TO92 CBE 45V LOOSE BC337C transistor. Hope this helps!

  • very very nice and it's energy efficent as well . but one question is in my mind would you please like to answer

you haven't used any resistor series with LED. mostly led will be damages if resistor is not used with them .

I used Live wire to simulate the circuit. I offers 6v to LED

  • hi thnx for the speedy reply and once again very good video. Also i just wanted to ask if i could just fix my last rc car coz all that happened is that the lights wire came off the green board chip thing it was soldered to, is it possible to solder back the wires onto the green board thing and if so does it have to be in exactly the first place it was already soldered to??????????????????

  • Hi

nice vid, please could you tell me what the red and black things are by the 2 led lights? Sorry but I'm kinda new to this, am trying to use this circuit for a remote control car, i had one already. Please can you give suggestions how i could possibly add this to a rc car using like a small battery. Also whats a transistor? Sorry for the hassle...

  • @Dev0nable thank you sir
