Hi. Very good work. I worked a lot QRP and know how hard it is to break throug the pileup with low power. Everyone can work DX with kw power and 10 db antenna gain but it is a big chalange to work with QRP and dipole. Gd luck from Leif - LA9BM

Very cool John. Africa/ S9DX [DD2ML , DK1AX , DL2JRM , DL7VEE, DM2AYO, DF1AL, DO2XX and DM5TI DXPedition] from Sao Tome and Principe Islands is great DX and that was a 599 signal report the DX station gave you! Great going!! 73 de NG9D

What kind of key are you using....? Currently building the PRF....
Good job on the contact.

@captainLstern I am using a Whiterook paddle - I first thought it was overpriced @$28, but it has a good "feel" and has withstood many a backpacking trips. The main reason I bought it was it's small size and negligible weight. The W5JH Black Widow key is a VERY good quality key that is designed to attach to toe PFR,but it is too heavy and bulky for backpacking (at least for MY 62 y.o. body!). If you are not going be carrying the rig all day, the Black Widow would be a great choice....

Thanks for posting. This video made the meeting notes/topics for the Echolink QRP conference this week. 73. Scott, KB0KFX

@sfarcus Cool! I am glad the clip made the rounds: I hope it encourages folks to just jump in to the pileups with QRP, you don't ALWAYS get em, but it is a SERIOUS rush when you do! Yee-Haw....

TU, I must admit I made sure they were in my log first using 100W from my K2 before I decided to "show off" to the cam with the PFR.
