@x9TheHereticAnthem9x The guitar is an Ibanez SZ520QML which was unfortunately discontinued. My amp is EQ'd with the bass at 10, mid at about 7 or 8, and treble at 5. The clean channel is actually a "crunch" channel and the overdrive channel's gain is at about 5.

@WildBillHickums or maybe during thieves when the vocals and the guitar part fit perfectly together. adolescents is another example, but they weren't even being that simple in that song so it's kinda ya know haha. but anyway i know exactly what you mean. it is kind of weak but overall it's still pretty good, at least in my opinion.

@WildBillHickums Actually you're right, they did try to hard on a few songs. Listening at first i really wasn't approving of the album (when it leaked in april) then i listened to it more because they're coming to cleveland (i'm going yess) but i kind of really liked it. you gotta put into perspective, outside outside of them not trying, look at how each person's part fits into it perfectly. like listen to brandon's vocals in isadore, and listen to the drum part they fit perfectly.

@IncubusCoverProject dude, ive listened repetitiously to "If not now, when?" and I have to say it is quite weak on the incubus standards. Surface to air isn't even on it. It feels like they are trying too hard to not try. You guys seem like ultimate Incubus fans and I don't even think you guys would approve overall of this new album.
