@barlekha1971 If you know your history it wasn't your "fucking Muslim" as you put it, were responsible for partition! This mess was created by The British, like many Hindus went to India, Many Muslims also flee from India due to bloodshed. My Grandad was a Muslim Businessman, but he had to abandon his properties and home from Shilchar to save his life from Hindus! So please be careful before blaming 1 particular sects! Hindus left by choice, Muslims fled India to save their life.

Damn. it looks so same as any place in Eastern Sylhet in Bangladesh. How cruel that these people were divided by our fucking muslims at this end and some stiff neck Hindus at other end. My home town Barlekha used to be a hindu dominated area. But look at it now. Majority of these people were forced (indirectly) to move to India. But some well off hindus were unnecessarily panicked. And that marooned some family exposing to opportunistic muslim neighbour. But I don't think there was any violence
