This Bach work is difficult because it's tessatura is at least a 5th higher than the rest of suites. That is because it was conceived and written for an instrument that had an EXTRA string: an E string! So when cellists play it they have to play it on only 4 strings.

@Yibar Suite 6 was meant to symbolize triumph and joy. The final suite is the hardest because it is the "grand finale" of the 6. The gavotte (I & II) are the hardest pieces of the song in my opinion because it has some really difficult, yet joyous double stops.
