furthermore it's not uncommon for people to have DUI's or DWI's because the city it self has been bankrupt for some time now, so the cops wait out side the bars and wait for people to leave as well as set up speed taps every day, this is how they earn money. also the personal property tax. With a liquor store on almost on every corner and three walmart super centers for a town of 122,000 people because thats all they can afford. Topeka the town that brought you the Westboro Baptist Church.

Don't believe this video, Lived in Topeka 27 years haven't found anything interesting to do yet but leave. All you have in Topeka are elderly people waiting to die and poverty, Topeka may be the epicenter of mediocrity, over-wait unattractive women driving mini vans, The town goes to bed at 9:00 and there are 3 cops for everyone one person. the night life consists of two bars that play nickel back on repeat so loud you can't hear your self talk.
