Dumb? It's fucking physics you 'tard, ski's are faster and therefore you get more air.... in any half-pipe or big-air competition skiers will go higher. Remember X-games a few years back when they compared Candide Thovex and Shaun White on a split screen to see how much higher Candide went! Insane!

@Sestrierre It isn't the same thing...switch on skis is simply skiing backward. Switch on a snowboard is not snowboarding backward....it's using the weak leg as the pivot foot. I'm not saying that skiing backward is easy.....but switch and backward are two different dynamics completely. I grew up sking...15 years, then switched to snowboarding because it was cheaper...never went back. Learning to ski and take off backward was a lot easier for me than learning to ride well switch for some reason
