WHHS Variety Show - Rap Performance

This is my performance at the
"West Hall High School Variety Show." (2010)

[Verse1]:
Sometimes I just feel like, staying up all night.
Why do I always go to the bathroom at midnight?
How come I never knew what real experience feels like?
It's my stage fright, but it's alright.
I go through the motion 'cause my devotion is so tight.
And with all of my friends who help me to still fight,
I'm a still kite, flying up so high.
And I've got by, so far I have done right.

I am going to go, with my own flow, I kill this beat, then I must go.

And I can't talk, I'm a solid rock.
Determination is why I don't fall apart.

And if they're deep enough it might tingle my toes.
The sensation, realization,
Insiduation that the rap life is no fun.
What they don't know, where they don't go.
How can they tell us when we do and we don't flow?
Life is no fun, that's just the way I've gone.
It would be nice if I could go home and see mom.

Blowing up the door, with all my flow, my style is gold, seasoned like snow.

And I don't need, to be emcee,
To show you that my style is stronger than Bruce Lee.
And depending if you think this offends me.
I'll have you know that you could never oppose me.
And you'll see me, all over the T.V.
Lookin straight at you through the glass on the big screen.
I am taking all the lessons that I need,
In order for me to relax and just be me.
'Cause I am free, you disagree.
You think I'm in this just to make me some money.

Rolling all my dough, it always grows, I kill this song, with all my flow.

There are emcees, out to kill me,
Because I'm blowing through these rythms like Ali.
Hip-Hop was looking for a king and it crowned me.
When I took control of the music I let it bleed.
It's a special need, the fuel I feed.
As long as I'm running the place there is no need,
To be needy, if you need me,
Just call my name, and I'll set you free.
Go tell your boys that you are wanting to kill me.
So form a game plan with your homies and test me.
But you'll need more vocabulary to beat me.
The beat is booming and the room is watching me.
So just watch me, and you'll see.
I didn't find the music, it found me.
