My first PS3 doesnt work, video of the problem

I pre-ordered a PS3 and got it launch day. Only to find it doesn't work. Here is a video showing you what's wrong. I tried everything, I even took it back and they said it doesn't work so I am waiting for the next shipment. I managed to get a 20 gig ps3 to hold me over in the mean time.

Don't say plug the controller in and push the PS button.
I did and it freezes.
If I try to reboot with it plugged in, I get no picture. Even if I unplug it sometimes I get no picture.
I have also tried HDMI, etc...

I literally tried EVERYTHING.

UPDATE: Sony is replacing it for free.

P.S. I do have an HDTV, im was using the small one to fix the PS3 while using my HDTV for HD tasks. Read all the comments before posting.

lol @ your television. PS-Why the fuck would you get a ps3 and not have an HD TV ... WTF MAN. .. IF YOU DONT HAVE AN HD TV,MIGHT AS WELL GO WITH A WII ,A NON HD CONSOLE.

Haha . you should buy a ps1 or ps2 if u have that kid of tv . xD

That's why when a new console comes out don't try to be the first ones to get it cause those are the ones that fuck up faster that's what happen to my cousing ps3 and Xbox had the same problem when they came out so yea both console are good but u got to use them in a proper time so that's all peace homes :D
