My first PS3 doesnt work, video of the problem

I pre-ordered a PS3 and got it launch day. Only to find it doesn't work. Here is a video showing you what's wrong. I tried everything, I even took it back and they said it doesn't work so I am waiting for the next shipment. I managed to get a 20 gig ps3 to hold me over in the mean time.

Don't say plug the controller in and push the PS button.
I did and it freezes.
If I try to reboot with it plugged in, I get no picture. Even if I unplug it sometimes I get no picture.
I have also tried HDMI, etc...

I literally tried EVERYTHING.

UPDATE: Sony is replacing it for free.

P.S. I do have an HDTV, im was using the small one to fix the PS3 while using my HDTV for HD tasks. Read all the comments before posting.

All of you are right! It's an overheat problem. The only way to fix it is to remove the old dry thermal paste on the GPU & CPU and apply some new thermal paste so it won't overheat. search for some youtube videos on how to disassemble the ps3 & how to add thermal paste on the GPU & CPU. I didn't make a video how I did it and to show proof it works but it's the truth. Thumbs up if it worked for u and to show everyone else :)
