  • Their first, the 1974 mid-season. They used the musical variant on Hec Ramsey as well.

  • that universal logo played before i was born and when my mom is young. what season is this?

  • This is the first time I heard this variant at the end of this show. This is another variant I heard on an audio recording of the close for this show and next and before this I saw one from that was recorded from a spanish speaking station.

  • Right. The Universal City Studios copyright notice shown in the ending credits began in the 1974-1975 season.

  • Yep, it's Season 1, b/c most Universal-TV shows lack the copyright year in their closing credits.

    The same is also true about the first season of Kojak, where the copyright year is not present in the closing credits.

  • This was from the first season (1973-1974).
