A simulated monster truck jumps a ramp. For fun I stuck in a rotation in the jump.
I modelled the truck using aero under linux. It produced the povray files. I substituted the basic objects such as spheres for tyres with chrome hubs.
I chose a frame to rotate and used Open Office Calc to calculate the camera positions. I rendered the animation using Povray.
Finally I put the images together using Virtualdub.
I visited this animation over a couple of years using Linux and Windows to do some of the work.
The whole thing could probably be done in half an hour using something like Blender but where is the fun in that.
umm... har ha har har har haha.
