Wow, I haven't heard this since I recorded it! That's Tom playing piano, Andrew Smith on drums and some guy from the Detroit Symphony on upright bass.
I love diana of the 70's. her albums were not really big sellers. disco was all around. there were many one hit wonders that have become dance classics etc. and then there was diana doing her own thing. now when we listen back we realise that she and motown created classic album tracks that are just ripe for quiet storm listening now. this track is brilliant.
Written & Produced by The Much Regretted TOM BAIRD who also wrote, a\rranged, &/or produced fellow MOTOWN stars as RARE EARTH, BOBBY & THE VANCOUVERS, XIT, GLADYS KNIGHT & THE PIPS, STONEY & MEATLOAF, THE ORIGINALS, MICHAEL DENTON, MIKE CAMPBELL, STEVIE WONDER, RIOT, and many others.
This is my ALL-TIME UBER-MEGA-ULTRA RAVE-FAVE of the WHOLE "Touch Me.." LP!
One of my absolute favorites by Diana Ross. I produced this track for the God Jamir for a compilation album we did a few years ago. This joint is hot to death!
I'm not a big fan of
Diana Ross but, I like this song by her.

Great song. Have you got the new remastered version of this album? It is excellent.
