It would have been better if it was Bobby's dream.....Yes bobby died but they could have said the Doctors used those electric pads to jump start his heart and save his life...then he would be in a coma for a year......I'm assuming you still dream in a coma.

No. Watch from series 1 to series series 14, It is well worth the effort and a social statement from 70s till 90s society.

I was a kid when it first came on - so I'm sketchy on the beginning...I remember the mid-seasons most (though we were not avid watchers...we were much more into Knots Landing)... I am actually watching the original Dallas now from the beginning (my library has all the seasons for check out) - and I am really enjoying it. I think you might like the first seasons...the "dream" season doesn't take place until the 9th year... the "new" Dallas is FABULOUS I think! Really enjoying it!!

As for the dream, it is only a small section of episodes. It is not something that ruins the remaining 13 seasons. Except only perhaps in reputation. You don't need to skip it, even though it is sort of sub par. The end of that season has one of the biggest moments in the shows history, because it was so dramatic. Enjoy.

I see, is this show good? It sounds interesting but knowing there's a full season that's pretty much a dream kind of pulls me out of watching it. Though I can perhaps just skip it.
