Julie Newdow was a freelance vocalist during the 80's New York music scene and an MTV basement tapes finalist, doing voice overs and recording session work. Her pure, silky voice can be heard on "OUT OF SIGHT" by LEFTURNO and as backing vocals on the MONET version of "First One, First Love"
Produced by Chris Barbosa & Mark Liggett (LIGOSA) 1987.

Julie Newdow did "If Only He Liked Girls", didn't she? That was the one that won the contest on MTV. Does anyone have that somewhere? It was a catchy song, with her singing to a mannequinn.

Thanks, Fstyl. You da man (or gal, as the case
may be). Might you also happen to have Nanette's "In the Heat of the Night"? It was like 1984, on the Prelude label.

Cool. And I'm glad you went stereo ;)
I have the exact emergency pressing. Also have the one by Monet, on her album.
