  • An even better version mixed by Ron Nevison exists on original drummer Gary Smith's website, on his Survivor page. The group pictured here is not the group that recorded this song. The original drummer and bass player, Gary Smith and Dennis Johnson played on this recording. Pictured here are bassist Stephen Ellis and Marc Droubay, who joined the group after this Survivor album.

  • Yes the 1979 line up is at the songs description, the picture is from "Eye of the tiger" album@netsmith11

  • they r the best

  • VIVA VIVA BOA MUSICA VALEU....

  • This album in my opinion can easily sit on the 10 best ever released albums along with Rolling Stones, Beatles and such!

  • The story of my life. Great song ,but sad but true.

  • As far as vocalists go, the impact I felt upon hearing Bicklers vocals on that first album was right up there with hearing Paul Rodger's for the first time. That sums it up for me.

  • Man! I remember headin to the north side of Chicago to go see them in the clubs listening to this song drinkin' a beer, hot summer night in my 20s, meeting up with all my friends man has time flown by,thanks for the memories.

This was one of my favorites.

  • @netsmith11 Wow, just heard the tune on Garys website. Thanks for the info, it's a great mix, much better!!

  • Yeah its one of my faves too. This album was never really given the recognition it deserved. Simply brilliant.
