Double demo today in Covent Garden; first demo at the Ahava Shop against it being permitted to sell openly on the streets of London goods stolen from Palestine. Second demo was at the Tesco Metro store which sells fruit and vegetables marked as Israeli produce but it is an open secret that most of this stuff is incorrectly labelled and that it is in reality settlement grown. The solution is to boycott everything coming from Israel as part of a general BDS campaign.

Sounds like we have similar problems, we have a CZ who comes all the way from Moonta ( 4 hour drive) and attaches himself to our protest while carrying a full size cross.One week we had 15 CZs and some of them are most un-Christian-like, they abuse us, yell through megaphones and accuse us of being murderers. All quite extraordinary. Do these people have any sense of irony?

The day Jesus returns they are in for a nasty shock; instead of a pat on the back and the offer of an executive job with a pension and car included on the welcome commitee in Heaven, it will be a million years of hellsfire and torture, something right out of Pieter Bruegel.

@AustralianFOPA Thanks - a few months ago the Zionists used to come to counter demonstrate at our Ahava protests accompanied by the EDL (local semi-fascist group) who misuse the English flag for their own evil purposes. After an initial love-in between the Zionists and the EDL Jewish Division (so-called) they fell out over the Zionist defenders of Israel's Ahava shop being unwilling to pay the EDL money for overnight 'protection'.

@AustralianFOPA By the way, that green white flag with a red lion(?) on it is the Welsh flag, there are a couple of fundamentalist Christian Welsh people that come all the way from Cardiff (or thereabouts) every fortnight especially to wave their flag and tell us that God gave Jerusalem to the Jews so there is no point our protesting against the occupation. In fact they were quite upset on Saturday when they thought we were finishing an hour early "what, we came all this way for just an hour?"
