Yeah, well. this is what happens when anyone or anything is confined into 'protected areas'. You get too many kings rubbing shoulders with each other, and then a fight. 100 years ago , when much of Africa was still wilderness , this lion could have easily walked miles in any direction and found his own place to live, without disrupting local male coalitions. But due to park confinement, big predator migration to new areas is almost impossible.

They play a waiting game in such fights. They do not go for the outright kill, since that might injure them badly. So they hurt the other one enough so he will not return again.

@tigerbeast777 I don't think I've seen the beginning, just part 1 to 3. I'm not 100% sure what happened to the fifth son. Some think he might have been killed and others feel he just simply stayed behind with one of the many Prides that The Notchs control.
