  • I agree with the earlier comment. If you get to know this man with his values and intelligence, it is amazing that we end up with the people that we do in the House and Senate leadership and the President. Jim could lead and could win the Highest office if he wanted to. What do you say Jim, could you run for us?

  • This damn guy is such an outstanding human being, one of my few boyhood heroes. They just don't make em (unfortunately) like this anymore. I was heartbroken as a young teen when he fell at the Mexico City olympics, the guy deserved better. Track, especially the longer distances, like mile and 2 mile is a terrific sport for high school students if you are built for it.

  • I love these interviews, but if you ever get a chance to do them over, get in front of a nice backdrop and back off slightly with the camera a bit.

    Jim is one of my heroes...and Webb's mile doesn't compare. Different surface. Record still stands as far as I'm concerned...
