you know he always resented luc Besson for no giving him a little bit of money or little percentage, after it came out that the movie became a huge succes, Mayol never asked anything of besson when he was making the movie giving him something would of been the right thing to do for Besson i wonder if Besson at least went to his funeral, Mayol is the guy who brought him his first big success.

Mayby it was the frustration that got Mayol in the end ? Not being able to dive anymore, his record broken, Besson threating him like trash after he helped him, and had given him advice you know somehow i do wish he would of gone with that dolphin into darkness of the as his last resting place,

i always have to think about Enzo's death in the film, and how enzo asks him to put him back, that its so nice downthere, he could of done that and just of disapeared, this would of been a nicer death now they found after twoweeks hanging on sealing thats sad. For me he will always be one of the heroes of the deep bleu sea right next to Jaque-cousteau.
