Can we leave out the fucking Nazi garbage? Why is it when people write songs about heritage/history/culture, some wanker has to go bring National Socialism into it. Just enjoy the bloody music.

@Gromkorify Norwegian but sings in swedish? Not very likely :) They "restarted" under the name Månegarm in Norrtälje sweden in 1995 according to Wikipedia... And it also says that it is important to them that the lyrics is in Swedish...
-
@sirseigan that's very interesting :) I can't speak Swedish and running the lyrics through a translator won't help much so I'm always happy about people explaining
-
Månegarm are norwegian.

Don't really know how in the earth some stupid americans can combine Viking Culture and the Nazi German Empire. Vikings lived 1000 year before them, if Hitler would haved liked the Viking Mythology then it was his choice but certainly not would make 1000 year old corpses Nazis. If you wanna get stared about religion stuff then I kinda think that Christianity is the one that has killed the most innocent people.

For the people talking about Sweden and nazis;
8000 jews in Denmark were about to be deported to concentration camps, what did they do? They fled to Sweden where the government took care of them, this also applied to Norwegian jews. Need more? Sweden signed the 1907 Hague convention and acted as a neutral ground for both the Allies and Axis forces.
Now if I'm not clear enough; Sweden under WW2 nor this song has anything to do with nazism.
Now, shut the fuck up and enjoy the music.
Månegarm sings in Swedish I suppose
