Shakeology vs Body By Vi Comparison

Body by Vi's latest marketing (which seems to be a direct copy of Shakeology's commercial) has been creating a bit of a buzz. The 5 year old might be cute, but the fact remains that sometimes you just get what you pay for.
Shakeology is made from 70 super foods from around the world. It is low calorie, low sugar (which is from naturally ocurring fructose - guaranteed non-genetically modified). It has all of your vitamins, minerals, digestive enzymes, phytonutrients. It helps you lose weight, reduces cravings, gets rid of that bloated feeling, improves regularity, increases energy...and above all tastes absolutely delicious. In addition, where Body by Vi is simply a meal replacement, Shakeology is a comprehensive program that encompasses nutrition AND fitness. It doesn't take a personal trainer to know that one without the other is an incomplete plan and will not yield long term results. If you are SERIOUS about wanting to improve your health, do not settle for anything less than the best!!
Cost wise, there are many different "packages" available with Body by Vi and they can get quite costly. Bars and snacks....they are processed foods!! Shakeology encourages you to still get plenty of fresh whole foods in your diet as well, because the ultimate goal is to be as healthy as possible!!

Azyurel and 1hardcoremama. Please don't bash Body Bi Vi Huntfitness said it best. America is fat and both are solutions. when I went to a body by vi taste challenge I looked around the room and noticed all these at peole in the room and said to my self. jeez, this stuff don't seem to be working. Then I found out those Fat people were even fatter last month. Here is my take on all this. If taking a shake or two a day helps you lose weight, Then it works. Support those doing it.

@massagebyclaudio I applaud anyone who takes control of their health in whatever manner works for them. What bugs me is how Body by Vi is being touted as a "better" product....simply because it is cheaper. Shakeology is a premium product and like I said you do get what you pay for. I agree that it is wonderful that people are losing weight with Body by Vi. Some people also lose weight on Slim Fast but I wouldn't let THAT stuff cross my lips. To each his own.

Like Beach Body, Body by Vi is changing peoples lives. As a personal trainer I recommend the Beach Body workouts and also promote the BBVi Challenge. In both cases the products are the best I have seen.

The reason BBVi is cheaper is because it is network marketed and as such ViSalus pays much, much less in marketing and promotion. The money saved is redistributed in two ways: 1) product development, and 2) compensating those who promote the challenge.

America is fat, both are solutions.

@huntfitness Thanks for your opinion & your interesting explanation that the lower cost is due to network marketing, not inferior product. Shakeology is all natural, no chemicals or artificial flavors. The whey protein is the highest quality available (not SOY). It's not sweetened w/sucralose (chemical in Splenda - basically chlorine). The small amnt of fructose (nat. occuring sugar in fruits/veggies) is guaranteed non-GMO. I respectfully stand by my argument that you get what you pay for.

I can't stand all these Body by Vi advertisements that are feeding people lies about their product being superior to Shakeology, and trying to con people into believing "less is more" and that the price alone for their shakes outweighs the benefits of Shakeology. I wish these guys would fall off the face of the planet, god knows how many people they've suckered into using their products with their false claims.

Very good points about comparing the whole foods of Shakeology to the processed junk foods of BBV.

I know, that sounds way bias but seriously, THATS what THEY are comparing it to.

@massagebyclaudio I am going off the fact that Body Bi Vi has tried to undercut the effectiveness of Shakeology, and boasts it is healthier, when in fact it is not. It is only cheaper, and is definitely NOT the best choice for an all around healthy meal replacement. I have no problem with them marketing their shakes as a healthy substitute, but to say it is better than Shakeology is flat out wrong.

OK to put it simply these are super foods. No one needs all of this at one time. it made me sick. Wveryone is different so I drink BSN shakes. Try them and deside.

@lauraj75 Thank you for sharing your opinion. My comparison of the two commercials was really rather tongue-in-cheek, and by no means the basis of my determination in which is a premium product. Much like it would be foolish to say that one product is better because is costs less than half the price. I can assure you that the information in the description of the video, the info that DOES warrant Shakeology a premium product is factual and accurate. But, yes, we all have the right to choose.
