Use of video noise reduction software to bring ISO 6400 noise down to ISO 320 levels of noise. Future use of morphological antialiasing to remove aliasing from Canon video from canon 5d 7d and Mark IV cameras in all modes.

  • HI eyepatchentertainmen. I just shot my short on Canon 1D Mark 4 at HD res. I edit with Final Cute Pro 5G ram on Dual 2.66 Dual core Mac. It is very fine when I review the clips. However, when I play the edit sequence, it did not play flawlessly but it got stopped between the 2 cuts. I went out to get a new Dual Quad Core Mac. It is a bit faster but it still got the same stopping problem. What should I do to make the edit sequence play flawlessly? Please help.

  • @taelinng I would try the 5DtoRGB software. It converts the video into an alternate format which will not only edit faster, but help preserve the detail of the original files while editing. rarevisiondotcom

  • Continued... I think I found a description of Aliasing and I don't think its what is going on. It looks like their is a swarm of Gnats between the camera and whatever I am trying to shoot.

  • You can first try to turn off Highlight Tone Priority, see if that help. If you could upload a sample of what your talking about, I can help

  • Sweet PS3 in background... Good job!

  • Hi! I just shot with 50mm prime 1.8. on 7D. Pretty good lens. But I tried to use the settings you give on the first video for 7D training. The image was really dark, shooting indoors. So I keep going up on ISO levels and ended up at 3200. Should I use different settings all together next time. Thanls!!

  • 24-105 f2? what is that lens that you mentioned?

  • @taelinng i use to have the same problem ,,, so what i did i open the clip with quicktime and covert the clip to ProRess 422 and it works PERFECT no more glitches ..just make sure when you convert the clip the aspect ratio in the same :)

  • From where can i download this noise reduction filter?

  • Your eye patch is pretty cool !

  • Hi I appreciate your video, I suggest to crop the resolution chart video so that the cropped part remains in the original resolution even in the youtube video, otherwise if it is down resed it have no use in terms of resolution and noise

  • Eyepatchentertainmen can you give me the exact name of the noise removing soft you was talking about, please.
