indeed, pointless interview, snow is not a doing TV any favors, regarding people using bad language above: couldn't one say that this is a function of anger/frustration and figure of speech rather than lack of comprehension? you don't need to be egalitarian or a english scholar to understand what happened, this all is an effect of a deliberate crash I reckon, intra-digital banking, a formula all planned out, by banks

That is to say of course, given that little twat Gordon Brown will not totally ruin these assets with even more harmful and stupid comments.
Kaupthing will be suing UK government for some billion pounds, the government as well. On top that Iceland should have kicked the Biritsh ambassador out of the country and cut all political ties with that fucking island.
And of course the Russians should get a military base here if they wish so.

Non sense interview. Like Haarde owes the UK some apologies to British public that invested in private banks and had nothing to do with the government. And then he goes asking, so you think there is chance they will get SOMETHING back. I am astonished how stupid and silly the British meida, politicians and the public is.
TRY AND GET THIS INTO YOUR HEAD. THEY WILL GET EVERYTHING BACK. Because the assets of the banks will be used to pay these deposits.

Politicians on both sides can argue as much as they want, ordinary people are caught in the middle. Thousands are now without any money and they will NOT get back all back. The nationalised Kaupthing assumed responsibility for parental guarantees of subsidiaries in Europe, therefore YES the Icelandic government does owe people money, UK/Dutch/German/Norwegian/Swedish/Swiss & Belgian.
Using profane language isn't going to help, it just demonstrates that this problem is out of your comprehension.
