...*sigh* So I object to the constitution being used as an infallible document, therefore I must be for the wars and/or policies waged in its name? Thank you for that lovely bit of fallacious logic. Here's something you don't get: your country's not the only one with a constitution. We have one, too. Except we tend to update ours once in a while. It never mentions anything about slavery being unconstitutional, as mentioned, as they kept slaves, but now it is. Why is that, I wonder?

@Pitchguest You seem to be against the Constitution, so do you think the endless, costly, unconstitutional wars are a better thing? Do you believe that the PATRIOT act, NDAA and SOPA which was close to getting signed in are fantastic? Do you love the state of the economy right now?
All of this is unconstitutional, wouldn't you agree?
Of course, the Constitution does have some problems with it, but nevertheless it is there to protect the rights of the people and shouldn't be ignored.

the girl at the end wants to be a marine biologist and claims that having Ron Paul elected will help her obtain that goal. Ron Paul supports hands-off approach to environment and even depleting funding for the EPA right? is that not the opposite of what that girl wants....?

Imho, welfare and social security were failed ideas at their inception. Seems to me, they were just litmus tests to see the amount of intrusion into the income & private lives of citizens, the govt. could get aways with. Pitchguest - You will have to point out for me the specific section of the constitution that specifically states slavery to be an accepted and/or protected practice. I’m still searching for that section.

You do know that the Constitution condoned slavery, right? Because the founding fathers kept slaves, even the father of your country, George Washington? It also didn't vie for equal rights, welfare, social security, and all the other things you take for granted. The Constitution was a set of laws that made sense 200 YEARS AGO. Perhaps you should shed your skin and look for other ways to improve your country, eh?

@BalZac419 Sorry, but this doesn't tell me why the constitution, drawn up 150 years ago, is foolproof, but todays laws are not.

@jhunted7667 peter schiff is from connecticut im well aware of the man and his father as a connecticut resident... they were both lunatics.
Between 2 generations of preaching an economic collapse, the couple years they got it right doesnt offset the 40 or so years they got it wrong. The schiff family are damn morons.

@molewizard Your fucking stupid...We want the states to be strong and deal with shit like were in the year 2012. For every dollar we send to the federal govt, the lose 20. Much easier to keep track at the state level. So keep being an ass monkey with your head buried in the sand!
The Constitution as one piece of paper is more valuable the all the Fed Res Notes in existence.
