It's final stage.
The 'DEATH' is most troublesome enemy,in this game.

  • i may get thumbed down for this but @ 1:22 there's an uncanny resemblance to castlevania SotN's inverted castle :p

however this one is much, much more desorientating :)

  • graphical power, somethimes i wonder why the hell we need a sega cd(it's a cool system) but.sega genesis did many things a snes did and maybe even bette, smoother animation on scaling and rotating objects, the diffrence is genesis could semi scale on sprites while snes could move entire background.anyhow i''m no expert but i think genesis and snes are graphicaaly quit even and tg 16 i've not seen enough games on that system graphically better then snes or genesis perhaps a few that count.

  • @JonErich

colour wise it was superior and it had a few more techniques behind.altought the genesis being the older one could still pull of shitt graphically a snes would never touch+ bigger characters?hmm ever played thunder force or alien soldier? never seen sprites that big on snes, and even samurai showdown and fatal fury on genesis had bigger sprites, heck even the mk games on genesis.the biggest advantgae snes had was overal look due to the colours.they're pretty equal.

  • @aryinc The SNES was for the most part graphically superior to the Genesis. SNES games could have bigger characters, more detailed graphics, and display more colors. The SNES's sound chip was also superior. The one advantage the Genesis really had over the SNES was the processing power. The SNES would not have been able to run a game like Sonic the Hedgehog as well as the Genesis and Sega made sure everyone knew that. Games like this however really did push the limits of the Genesis.

  • genesis was my first console. Castlevania and Rocket Knight Adventures were my very first games. Epic

  • Very nice, but Rondo of Blood for TurboGrafx/ PC Engine still owns this one.

  • Is it just me or was this the easiest Death boss of all the Castlevanias?

  • damn this game looks god.why did we have to deal with crap like sega cd and 32x while genesis could manage on it's own aggainst snes, sega had the damn svp chip wich could blow any snes game out of the water.

  • @toxicitzi

why should you get thumbed down? i love all castle games, and i remember that part in sotn but i like emm both very much only i played this version more often cause genesis is more loved by me then a old psx or ps2.ps3 however is amazing.

  • damn that password screen music used to give me the creeps when i was a kid.it has that splatterhouse fell to it.Still gives me shivers when i listen to it.

  • @aryinc Amen to that!!!!

  • @toxicitzi i know,i was so suprised at what this game was capable of doing on the genesis.especially the leaning tower stage.it still shocks me to this day,the amount of detail that stage had.i was wondering if some of the developers from Symphony of the Night took some ideas from The Last Level of Bloodlines,The Upside Down level and the Color Change in the Boss Levels on the Death encounter.
