@yobachi2007 ummm, your comment doesn't make much sence. Bikram never claimed to create yoga, what he did do is a lot of hard work to put together a series of postures that would benefit anyone no matter age, injury or experience level. Barkan took as much of Bikrams work as he could and try to create his own spin off version. Bikram doesnt get 10's of thousand of dollars for anything, so get your facts straight before you comment. He charges a lot for his training, so do other Yoga trainings
You mean how Birkram stamped his name on thousands-years old poses by copyrighting what he didn't invent?
Jimmy simply reorganized it so people wouldnt have to give Tyrant Bikram tens of thousands of dollars to teach other people what they know. You keep practicing the "real thing" (because some how if Bikram's name is not on asanas its not yoga) and push back in the standing back bend "until it hurts like hell". Thats real yoga
if by 'soak in' you mean fooled by a guy who stamped his name on someone elses hard work, then your right. i guess im not. but since i already practice the real thing, im not that worried
I think you should leave it to me what I should do... and if you have nothing nice to say about people, don't say anything at all... it does not seem that you are soaking in any teachings of yoga
@hunorita you should try BIKRAM YOGA which is where this low life "developed" his system. He's a copy cat that wanted to make more money than by just teaching alone. Bikram is the real Yogi, not this loser
I'm attending Jimmy's yoga school, and it changed my life... at ones I did not attend classes for three weeks (christmas season, family visit), and got withdrawal symptoms.
I normally attend the hot yoga classes, thought by Phillip, who is connecting the spirituality of yoga with the physical in a way it makes you want to better yourself and the world.
