  • @josh198869 Dude are you serious? There are too many differences between the Aviator and Explorer to list. The engine on the Aviator is a DOHC V8 from the Mustang Mach 1, the transmission was upgraded, the suspension is all-aluminum and independent at all four wheels, the frame is mounted on a two-piece rubber body mount, and the bumpers, facias, headlights, tailights, wheels, hood, hatchback, dashboard, seats, center console, and even little hardware like the door handles are different.

  • @arcenal352 ok good sir lol

  • @chinchillawrangler They're supposed to be faster...

  • @josh198869 Not at all. My post (the one you replied to) explains the differences. The most notable one is the engine. Other than size, the 2 engines have no similarities.

  • @arcenal352 it was the sister to the explorer same everything but the logo and name lol

  • shouldnt these be just as fast as the explorers? my sisters 02 explorer v8 does 0-60 in 7 seconds

  • lemme guess, Canada?

  • This is 100 Kilometers per hour which is about 60mph.

  • @humanparody12 Different engine, different steering system, different suspension, different transmission, different rear end... Everything but the chassis is different on the Aviator.

  • navigator runs 16.3 in the 1/4 and the aviator runs 15.4, the grand cherokee 5.9L runs 15.8. Aviator is a fast SUV for sure, the 96-98 mustang used the 4.6 DOHC but it was a teskid block, block could handle over 1200hp, to bad about the internals though. The aviator uses the 01+ 4.6 DOHC, same power as the 96-98 but ford made the block instead of teskid. 91 for a reason. don't bother paying for 93 unless you get a tune for it. With a catback and tune the aviator can can do the 1/4 in 14.7. Quick
