The Raga Megha (Rain-Melody), the Raga for increasing Energy & Bliss can be played/listened at any time; especially in Summer time or when it is very hot.
Many times I was playing this Raga when Rain was missing in Nature & it did always work. Also these days: In Germany we had no Rain for almost 4 weeks; so we played this Raga 2 days day & night. After the first day the temperature went down from about 28 C (Celsius) to 18 C. The evening of the 2 day rain came. So I dedicate this Video to all Gandharvan (traditional Indian Musicians) & of course my Master His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi-ji who revived this important Vedic tool to heal the world in reducing stress & tension in the atmosphere & enlivens Sattwa (life supporting energies). Gandharva Veda belongs to the 40 main Aspects of the Vedic sciences & has it's origin in Sama-Veda. Come & see:

That is what for the Raga is ment for: To produce Rain when the weather is to hot! It reduces Pitta (heat inside & outside too) in the "Air"

For me it was nice to hear the effects which this Rain-Raga (Raga-Megha) produced immediately: Rain Rain & Rain! Be happy that you can hear it! The last 2 shots (the last two sequences) of the Video I made when rain came & at the same time the "Rain Raga" (Raga Megha) was playing in my office. Even in the background you can hear Indra's thunder which is destroying Asuras & then rain follows his direction! Let it rain let flow let it grow. All Glory to Maharishi, to the Gandharvan’s & many thanks goes to Lord Indra.
