James Twyman, international peace troubador, author of "The Moses Code", and friend of Jonathan's made a surprise appearance at the intensive on Friday evening. He played 4 songs; here are the middle two, which he combined. The lighting isn't so great, and because of where I was sitting, a microphone boom obscureds his face, but the songs come out well enough. Enjoy!

  • this is also the essence of Zen philosophy and this song is a perfect example of the former. it's overly sweet. although the words and intention are honest and real, the emotion & melody is phony and contrived, kind of like aspartame. just b/c someone is self-aware and has learned some spiritually developed techniques doesnt mean they can make healing music...

  • if you're planning on making vocal, acoustic guitar music, get some inspiration by listening to some blues & soul - where you can feel the strength that is needed to balance out the feeling of tenderness in this song. incorporate the hypnotic, grounded, body feeling or stay in the cerebral realm and be fluffy like a thought that never manifests anything. there is a very old, wise Jewish proverb that reads "Don't be too sweet lest you be eaten up; don't be too bitter lest you be spewed out."

  • MosesHightower must be male. Listen or not. The choice is yours. I personally love James music and find it very healing. How interesting you would put so much energy onto something you don't like or agree with. How male energy of you. LOL

  • seriously, this cant be labeled as 'healing sounds'. this is intellectualized healing music - watered down, contrived fluff and is completely yin. like any creative art, balance is the result of spirit-driven music, and is needed to be truly healing beyond the surface, that means incorporating the yang as well - the power/strength/depth. the energy in this brittle & weak, mainly thought driven and sounds exactly like the school teacher from Beavis & Butthead!

  • beautiful!!!!!!!!!
