My grandparents have rescued 4 retired racers, and they've all been very sweet dogs.

@Lilzchilz And you are incorrect as well. An extremely small amount of greyhounds get put down in the US and 98% of those have life affecting injuries. Don't believe every lie grey2k spews

My mom and step dad have a retired racing greyhound. He is the biggest couch potato and has the smelliest farts....I could never imagine him as a racing dog after getting to know the goof ball that he is. :)

@0rchids303 not true, after three years of racing they put the dogs down. its sad and cruel but thats why people have adoption services to give them a nice home and avoid having them put down
