Wasn't the U.S.S. Enterprise carrier decommissioned already in the late 80s/early 90s after they introduced the next generation?...I'm pretty sure it was, as it was one of the last survivors from WW2 still in service. The surviving members of her crew from back then held a ceremony and everything.
