This program is a tracker called Schism Tracker. It's a clone of the DOS version of Impulse Tracker.
I accidentally discovered this program (Impulse Tracker DOS version) last 15 years ago when I have interest and passion for video game music (especially Squaresoft RPG music which was tracked into MOD, S3M, XM, and IT by various people. They include TSSF and many other people.
There was a good website called "Unofficial Squaresoft Home Page" (UOSHP) that have many interesting infos about Squaresoft RPGs that was managed by Andrew Vestal, and "Unofficial Squaresoft Music Page" (UOSMP) that was run by Kupan. These were the 2 websites that give me interest in Digital Music or Module music.
Schism Tracker is program which allows you to compose music into Digital Music format (or module music). It is popular during the older times and known as the MOD music. Digital Music sounds much better than the conventional MIDI music.
Schism Tracker is derived from the same Impulse Tracker and works the same as it too, just that it works in newer Windows OS like Vista and such.
This module music was made/composed by the author of Impulse Tracker (Jeffrey Lim). It comes together with older versions of Impulse Tracker. All credits belongs to him. Hope you enjoy his music.
I wonder the same thing man. I truly would love to meet Jeffrey Lim and shake his hand. His hard work and dedication to this little tracker made a huge impact on my life. If you ever find him tell him he's the best.
