sarah kennedy latest bizarre outburst

On her 15th July 2009 Radio 2 show, Sarah Kennedy decides to fill in the gap before the 7AM news by quoting Enoch Powell and describing him as "the best prime minister we never had"

According to the Daily Telegraph:

A spokesman for the BBC informs me that it has received 25 complaints. "It was inappropriate for Sarah to offer an off-the-cuff political opinion and we have spoken to her and made that clear," he said.

I don't understand. Why is this a bizarre outburst? Enoch Powell was probably the best PM that never was. Look beyond the one speach (that has been blown out of all proportions) and he was very articulate & educated and had many supporters in his time. The Daily Mail readers who like outrage might do well to reflect on his prophesy and what is happening on the streets of the UK today.
