@RobDagger The guitar he uses is called the Gretsch BST 1000. I have owned 3 of them. One of them I sold to him. The guitar was made in 1979 when Gretsch didn't have a lot of money. They saved some by buying cheap Japanese pickups. The pickups don't have a proper feedback coating so when he yells on top of it with the gain up on his amp the combination of his voice vibrating off the strings and the cheap pickups ='s the sound you hear. He also uses a Boss Delay Pedal here to spice it up.
it works better on the bridge pickup too. and also depends on how much gain you have on the selected pickup. also you havee to work with the amp volume, but if you do run it through a delay and or reverb its going to create some nice effects. :]
