I agree, in shiaa a imam's words are way more powerful then Allah's words. Like jezz, we are not here to please Ali or any Imam, we are here to please Allah. @TheIrisOfMyEyes Brother, those are sects; just like in Christianity. According to statistics, 85% of Muslims are sunni's. But I do not see that word in the Quran or Hadith, neither i see Shia in it. First, follow the orders of God. Then the Prophets. It is very difficult following them as it is. Praying 5 times a day, giving charity, respecting your parents, not lying, no back-biting, treating everyone equally and so on. Which many Muslims don't and rather fight over such ridiculous matter.

Ask a Shia the same thing and he will say I am a true Muslim unlike those deluded Sunni's. Nobody considers themselves in a section, so the holy verse you just quoted is irrelevant. So when the Prophet delivered Islam, he was delivering the message of Allah swt. When he delivered the message on Ghadeer Khum that Ali a.s was to be the successor, that too was a message of Allah. Thanks to your version of "following the successors" by which you mean following the traitors Omar, Abu Bakr, Othman, ect, look where we Muslims are now. Lead by corruption.
