  • @MegaMichaelrodrigues Robert Jordan is a B writer; his books are entertaining to read, but they are not challenging and I never liked the way he decided to utilize the lore of ancient Europe; just as an example, those Elfin/Aelfin were supposed to be based on Faery, but the fact that they had fox/snake characteristics was really out there in a bad, incomprehensible kind of way. It suggests of the author either no respect for the legends he is rendering, or just mediocrity.

  • @MegaMichaelrodrigues So the world he created far surpasses our world?? Because that is where the LOTR takes place; it is Tolkien's version of the mythic period of the Celts and Teutones, with his elves being the equivalent of the Faery/aes sidhe. I admit, the trilogy itself is a little bland, but I gobbled up the Histories of Middle Earth and his other writings as it was just like reading the myths and analyses of the ancient European religions.

  • Brava Lauretta

  • Please let them make a movie!! And hope Peter jackson directs it too

  • This is not real, they threw together a bunch of trailers. You can tell because a little bit before 0:55 that it is prince of persia. And i know there are more movies in there

  • @joctheviper1

    there makeing the Hobbit...

    there is yet hope

  • Mature. Animated. Series.

  • i see some copies of my trailer :P

  • very kewl mash up

  • this is the best series that I have ever read, I don't think a movie could ever do it justice, I'd be afraid of what they'd cut out to try and smush it into theatre style movie. Cool vid, though.
